Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! 👋 My name is Loris Ambrozzo and the aim of this blog is to share my knowledge and experience of security, with a particular focus on cloud security.

I have a strong background in systems engineering, with a focus on client and server management. I am currently working as a Security Consultant at baseVISION AG. In this role, I engage with the latest Microsoft Cloud Security technologies and the diverse requirements of our customers on a daily basis. My main responsibilities include providing consultancy services and technical implementation of various security products for a wide range of companies and industries. My goal is to maximise my customers productivity while providing them with the best security protection against attackers for each new requirement.

In my projects, I work intensively with various Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Entra (ID), Microsoft Defender XDR (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Cloud Apps), Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel and as well with the cloud service provider Microsoft Azure. These technologies enable me to design and implement secure and modern cloud security solutions.

My Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland equipped me with the necessary knowledge to analyse customer needs, design and plan perfect solutions, and implement them successfully with a project team. My day-to-day work combined with the experience I gained during my studies enables me to find and implement the right solution for every situation.
